1What we collect

We do not ask for anything we have no use for. There is no field on this site asking for a date of birth or an income bracket, because a pet shop does not need one.
2Why we hold it
To pack and deliver your order, to answer you when you write, to meet US tax and accounting obligations, and to spot fraud. That is the whole list.
3Cookies
Necessary cookies keep your cart and your login working; the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies tell us which pages get used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser — the cart will stop remembering you, but nothing else breaks.
4Who else sees it
Only the companies that have to: the payment processor, the carrier delivering your parcel, our hosting provider, and our email service. Each gets the minimum needed to do its job.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not hand it to advertisers. We will disclose it if a court or a law requires us to, and not otherwise.
5Marketing
Order confirmations and delivery updates are part of the transaction and go out regardless. Anything promotional needs your explicit opt-in, and every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
6Security
The whole site runs over HTTPS. Payment pages are encrypted end to end. Admin access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if a breach ever affects your data.
7How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax law requires. Support emails for two years. Analytics in aggregate. Marketing consent until you withdraw it.
8Your rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we respond within 1 business day. Deletion requests cannot remove records we are legally required to keep, such as completed orders — we will say clearly what stays and why.
9Children
This shop is not aimed at under-13s and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
